They are Renewed movies for limited period again it's moving to Sony, especially Warner Bros/Paramount catalogs. Sony pictures movies stay for 1.5 years whenever broadcaster renew Sony catalogs.

Since last 3 days (today, yesterday and day before yesterday) Sony Hindi Movie Channels have been repeating Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, PK, 3 id*ots, Ek Thha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, Sooryavansham, Nushchaiy, Thugs Of Hindustan, Chak De India, Virasat, Sultan, Fan and few more bollywood movies.

Ofcourse Bahulbali franchise, KGF franchise movies, Bhool Bhulaiya, Munnabhai MBBS and some other dubbed south indian as well as bollywood movies have been on continuous repeat mode since last few months

I thought zee had major issue of repeating handful of movies very often but sony is surely performing worse than zee in this regard. Zee has very large bollywood movies library and can easily improve upon its content strategy by giving space to more variety of bollywood movies across its channels....similarly sony may not have as large number of bollywood movies in its library compared to zee but certainly it has a huge bollywood movie catalogue too and needs to utilize it effectively by giving adequate airing to all such movies rather than airing them during watershed hours or just not airing them

They are Renewed movies for limited period again it's moving to Sony, especially Warner Bros/Paramount catalogs. Sony pictures movies stay for 1.5 years whenever broadcaster renew Sony catalogs.

Bcoz both Disney-Star and Sony have output deal with Warner Bros and Universal Pictures. Maybe Disney-Star,has 1st output deal and Sony has 2nd output deal. Also many studios r having mixed deals wherein different broadcasters get to to premiere their various new movies and even get access to older ones on rotation basis

So paramount has recently inked agreement with Amazon Prime Video for its TV shows....already output deal is ongoing with Amazon Prime Video for the movies produced/distributed by Paramount Pictures.

Also CBS/Paramount produced shows like "The Good Fight " and some others being aired on Zee Cafe.

Now that share of Viacom CBS is reduced to very less in Viacom18 hence does this mean that Viacom CBS will exit the venture with TV18 or maybe continue with minimum role in Viacom18 and alongside having content deals for shows/movies with other broadcasters / OTT platforms

Why would ViacomCBS want to exit?

They have a great collaboration with Jio/RIL who is set to capture the streaming market in India. ViacomCBS will never be able to enter the Indian market as a single entity and make profit. They're too small.
