So finally now Parliamentary Standing Committee / Panel too has clearly highlighted/observed that pricing/package strategy adopted by broadcasters post NTO regulations coming into effect has flaws/shortcomings and not consumer friendly as had been intended while implementing the same.

AIDCF too has extended support to the findings of the report and urged government to alter certain provisions / rules in the NTO regime so that customers + MSO's too are benefitted from the same

I have been stating the same since long time that it is not NTO which has lead to high pricing or other issues in TV Broadcast Industry but improper way of implementation ( higher bouquet/channels pricing particularly thru A La Carte mode whereby people r forced to opt for broadcaster/ DPO Bouquets thus limiting choice to opt for channels too) and Hopefully soon we may see required corrections being made so that interest of all stakeholders is taken care of

India Today has gem like Lallantop. Don't know why they waste time in something like Good News Today. They can have a news channel connecting with youths. They can even run it as hybrid channel by having Business Today at morning and Lallantop at night. Good News can be a segmented news. Don't think they need a dedicated channel for all that.

Enterr10 is going to shutdown from 31 March, 2024. Just a few days ago D2H had also run a scroll to remove this channel but it was not removed. But right now Enterr10 is not showing any good programs and only crime alert keeps running the whole day. And a few days ago, enterr10 network also filed the trademark of some channels but Dangal was presented as the lead brand. It is possible that this channel will be discontinued from the coming April and Enterr10 Network will be replaced by Dangal TV Network.
