Did you ever watched Star Movies Select HD? They committeed to offer a new movie every night. Forget about 365 days, 365 stories. They are airing same Marvel garbage. Star Movies airs. Why have two channels than? Also old movies like The Fault in Our Stars, Paper Towns, The Grand Budapest Hotel etc. has permanently left TV screens years ago.

Yes, when the channel launched it intended to air meaningful, contemporary hollywood movies but after about 2 orc3 years they changed strategy and started airing mostly mainstream cinema barring few movies from alternate cinema.... Could be that dismal ratings prompted this move
Right now too they r airing certain good movies and even airing mainstream movies from various banners which find less space on Star Movies but still as i have said proper content strategy most likely will be implemented after Star Movies Select SD feed is available across all Major DTH, Cable, HITS, IPTV platforms.

A new retro bollywood movie channel might also soon be launched by Disney-Star and maybe even an infotainment channel catering to science, investigation, exploration, biography, historical shows

Still do not understand why Viacom18 has decided to air Test Matches on Colors Cineplex SD/ HD, i could well understand if they air T20 or ODI matches on these channels until Sports18 - 2 gets wider reach across platforms but airing Test Matches on hindi movie channels is a wrong strategy in my opinion....Anyways not much unhappy as usually these 2 channels just air dubbed South Indian Movies

Wow after zee cine awards it's 2nd award function show on zee tv for the 1st time very excited. FilmFare awards 1st sony then colors now zee.

Viacom give us more HD sports channels. So many matches goes untelevised. Atleast use other channels during live events atleast.

Now unfortunately Sony has started removing songs while airing certain bollywood movies on its channels ....Aankhen (1994) right now airing with songs cut from it...previously too Saajan Chale Sasuraal and few other movies aired without songs
