GSAT 10 launch is scheduled for Saturday, September 29

Disclosing that the next communication satellite GSAT-10 was ready for launch, Radhakrishnan said it would be put into orbit by a French Ariane satellite in August 2012. It will add 30 transponders to our existing capacity.

It is now confirmed in today's news paper of Deccan Herald.

Tata sky users wait for another 3 months for launch and another 2-3 months for channel addition. From Nov-Dec'12 onwards lot of channels will be added on ts platform.

yeah but a if is always there though they will get new tps they should be really interested to add channels. if they are really interested then they can add atleast 25 popular channels that i had made a wish list seperately in ddf forum.

We all know that tata skys future is depend on this satellite. It is delayed from 2011. But finally date is now fix and it will be launch on 14 sept by ariane 5 rocket. Source

This is latest update. Now this news is very confirm that gsat 10 will not further delay. All info available here. So many customers are waiting for gsat 10 launch. Now 14 sept is fix. So countdow of channel addition in tata sky now start. 130 to go. http://www.lyngsat.com/launches/index.html
