I think d2h makes the advt. Of hbo hitz & define in advance i.e before addition and when this channel gets added d2h will advt it when we switch ON the stb for few seconds...but may be due to some technical issue this advt is getting display while watching or changing channel...

Any channel introduced must be part of any of the base packages. Star world premiere HD should be available atleast in platinum HD pack. This channel is not very important channel like eating of food. Man can live without these special channels. Broadcastor should know these things.

Star World Premier HD shows the TV shows within 24hrs of their premiere in the US, no other channel does that. Other channels show the TV shows quite a few days after their season finale.
On top of that the channel is in HD and most importantly ad-free.
Both the HBO premium channels are in HD and ad free.

A channel's main revenue is from ads, so for ad free service they got to charge higher.
If it's a part of a platinum pack, the charges will definitely go up, which not great news for people who are not interested in the programs shown by the channel.

Your thinking is true. But what about those people who are not able to give such large amount for only one channel which is available in english only, not in hindi or local language. Indian people want channels in their own language. Broadcastor should know about this and some advertisements can be given. Customer can bear some advertisements. But special ad free channels now available should be given at less price for common peoples. Such channels should be available atleast compulsorily in hindi. Any new channel introduced, should be available in hindi. If not then government should send notice to channel broadcastor. Hindi is most speaking language in india.

Local cable operator from my region is giving 400+ channels in rupees 200 per month only. Why this can possible? Special hbo channels, sports & various english & regional channels are in rupees 200. Tell me why dth operators are not giving all channels in rupees 200.
