HBO Asia CEO Jonathan Spink said, “With HBO as the new home of the Oscars in Asia, Hollywood’s most watched and anticipated television event is now available live to subscribers as a complete Oscars experience. And for the first time in the history of the Academy Awards®, viewers can watch winners backstage in a live feed, shown to Asian viewers on HBO.”

The biggest awards show in Hollywood which honours the year’s best films, performances and achievements in cinema will be hosted by Neil Patrick Harris in 2015.

This is the first time that Harris will be hosting the event.
Viewers in Asia can catch the complete live broadcast of all the Oscars programmes on HBO and HBO HD, including the live Oscar nominations announcement on 15 January 2015.

Oscar coverage on 23 February starts with On The Red Carpet – The Arrivals. Then there is Oscars Red Carpet Live – Pre Show. After that is the main show. This will be followed by On The Red Carpet – The Winners
