i already using 1 TB HDD for personal , if i connect for recording will my data will format for first time use and later i cant use it for personal data ?

If I have made 20 favorite channels of any genres Ch.1 to 20.
Should I able to record and watch between Ch.1 to 20 together ?

Saket bhai, will u pls clarify Pause live tv? U mean to say after rec the programme we can edit the ads n watch it again? I hope this is not Pause live tv.

HD rec consume nearly 75 MB per minute ....for SD consumes nearly less than half around 30 MB for the same time....you can watch channels in same tp with same polarisation in which rec channel includes...2222 box has only one tuner...at a time only one tp and one polarisation only.. Rec content is in .trp (sorry, earlier by mistake I wrote .ts) extension which is a pc playable ext...but it is encrypted so cannot play in pc...you can record any channel and quality same as live streaming

how can u decrypt it bcoz everytime u plug in ur pd it will ask for format?

dont use your harddisk if u r windows user.It will be formatted automatically when you attach to pc

You can copy the HDD contents rec by STB to Windows pc using many free linux format readers for Windows xp/vista/7/8...
