OK d2h has high channels,but why thre not able to bag 1st or second position in tamilnadu?????????

Customer wise they are in 4th position in tamilnadu....

dont ask for source immediately....

as per the arusu cable article in kumudham on july sun in 1st position,airtel and dishtv in
2nd,tatasky in 3rd and videocon in 4th position??????????

brother Kumudham is also a part of sun network.(indirect partner)

so they post 1st place in own network..

d2h have the maximum tamil channels it is 100% true

now the race is between SUN vs VIDEOCON D2H

so moved to 4th position

really d2h is a 1st place in india

sun direct has only 24Tamil channels

Then everyone pick d2h,but in TN sundirect only in first position...

In promotion wise Sun direct,tatasky and airtel is fantastic in Tamilnadu....but rest 3 dth service is dead in promotion and advertisement TN

Sun direct leads in TamilNadu because it is a Tamil enterprise and naturally they will be marketing themselves aggressively. Besides D2h is a latest entrant in DTH arena and as such those who have opted for Sun before will definitely be with Sun itself.

So many Malayalam Channels cannot be added in D2H as it is a DTH Service provider and not your local cable.

Sun Direct is having 24 Tamil channels out of which 1 is their PPV channel. So the actual count is 23.

Absolutely right..

Current Counts:
D2H - 27 (Excluding Sankara and Aaseervatham)
Airtel - 26 (Excluding Sankara and Star Vijay Hitz)

After the addition of 2 new Tamil channels (J Movie and Mega TV) in ADTV:
D2H - 27 (Excluding Sankara and Aaseervatham)
Airtel - 28 (Excluding Sankara and Star Vijay Hitz)

Now D2H is lagging with Makkal TV which is available in ADTV but not in D2H. Some news are there (even in DDF) that D2H is going to add Sathiyam TV. If that happens, both ADTV and D2H will have same count (28) of Tamil channels and will be in #1 position (based on count). Makkal TV will be the exclusive in ADTV and Sathiyam TV will be the exclusive in D2H.
