I am raising one question & I thought to create a separate thread for this to get all members attention. As per as I know SD cannot remove any RDTV shared channel unless RDTV removes the channel from RDTV's TP. But very recently SD removed India Vision which was shared from RDTV's TP even when RDTV has not yet removed it. So is it possible for SD to remove RDTV TP's shared channels even if RDTV does not remove them from their own TP ? Members to throw light on this. :huh Thanks in advance. :eek:hya

I think in the shared TP there are channels which are only available on RDTV and not on Sun direct.

So yeah it's very much possible

Good one ABCD bro. Then we can add many more channels in this way by removing crap ones.

Yes. Better if RDTV & SD discuss together to add important channels or customers would change to other dths :dodgy

it all depends on the kind of agreement you have with rdtv for sharing of channels in tp...
I don't think there is anyone on the forum who knows exactly what the moa signed betwen sd and rdtv is...

as for indiavision no one knows exactly whats going on bcz this. channel is not "officialy" shutdown... which is the reason why its still continuing on.some dth...

yeah bro me too.... I also dnt knw about tp and its calculation.... If anyone explain i was happy thanks in advance...

Channels which are shared by Sun Direct and Reliance are using dual encryption. One encryption is from Reliance Digital which is Seca 3 and the other encryption from Sun Direct which is Irdeto-2. If Sun Direct wants to remove it then just by removing Sun Direct encryption from that particular channel it won't be available on Sun Direct

Excellent way of explanation Hassan bro. I like it. So Sun can remove RDTV Channels without any hassles Hassan bro ?
