If you are already having HD STB of Tata Sky, then it holds good for now. As per information on DDF, Tata Sky has not yet shifted to HEVC technology in actually broadcasting. When it does, it will replace your STB with HEVC STB for free. As of now, there is no advantage to hold HEVC STB as far as Tata Sky channels are concerned.
