Intel to Release Set Top Box & Cable TV Services in CES 2013: Apple is also in Plans to Release Apple TV
London: According to the post on TechCrunch, Intel is in plans to launch virtual cable television services along with set top boxes in the future. In the recent times, we could hear more news about Apple’s own television service rumors.
In order to combat the licensing issues, Intel is in plans to release this service in cities one by one, rather than going for nationwide launch. This will allow Intel to negotiate regarding the control of smaller markets having content providers. These content providers are actually not interested to hand over the licensing rights which are valuable.
