May be because their contract expired much before.At that time it was not clear whether there would be superfan feed.
So they might have made the agreement with star that time to launch a servive during IPL.

No. That is not issue. It will be loss to TS to provide an interactive service if Star is providing same. it will be TS loss as they will have to use their equipment and servers to provide the same service which Star would provide and i dont think TS is not aware of this fact.

Or may be DTH did not ask for special feed because of cost increase and they want the cheapest deal from broadcaster so broadcaster did not offer them that feed

You are right but when I said free i never thought about it, i was thinking about free SSH1 which is useful for me

Star sport select addon service from star. Ts give service. First they started in Wimbledon 2017.now add on service name change as super fan feed.
