yes,you can but you have to pay extra 25 rupees per month for record activation on HD boxes,but HD recorder there is no charges.

why you want to move?for recording issue you can take airtel.

PQ is somebody's personal experience.It varies from one to another.

But you have to pay 25rs for recording for 1 month in airtel.

yes u can record by external storage device By Recording Remote, u need to pay rs.25 Extra for recording services and no need to any Extra activation charges, Videocon Charge Rs.199 Activation charges and 25/monthly recording charges.

you can record chnls via usb.
*you need minimum 4GB free space on usb.
*you can connect upto 2TB storage device.
*you must have recording remote and add recording top up worth rs.25/M
*can't change channel during the recording time, ie u can record one channel at a tiime.
*buy HD DVR , you can record 2 channels at a time.
