It's against TRAI rules bro. Like that even DTH operators can give own customized packs not charging NCF. But it's against TRAI order.

Once TRAI does their auditing all these things will stop.

TRAI has not disallowed operators from charging 0 NCF. Operators r free to not have NCF but there is no one willing to let go profit. If i remember correctly Tata Sky was trying to get initial NCF slab value increased or i guess objected to current ceiling limit placed on initial slab.

0 NCF isn't charged by Den anywhere. Lco cannot decide how much ncf is charged. There is some ghotala involved here if indeed he's providing so many channels for such a low price.

I think TRAI has mandated 60-40 sharing ratio between MSO and LCO for initial slab, anyways it is upto them what they decide to charge from subscribers. Guess Fastway is not charging NCF in Punjab. Also in smaller towns operators have no option but to make adjustments as people have limited budget.

Bro i have contacted Den CC multiple times regarding this and they have a specific rule which is same for all. Basically they have a site meant for LCO's where they have to update the channels and packs each subscriber chooses. I witnessed this first hand when i visited my lco office. Ncf of 153 is chargeable for all Den users. There is no discounts given anywhere afaik. I asked Den users from 3 states to confirm this as well.

Moreover I moved to a village from a city just last month and ncf is same here as well.

Last comment for today. When in earlier period DD Sports wasn't blocked for cricket matches i noticed Tata Sky deliberately over compressing its feed thus high pixellation being visible in fast camera motion. Also colors were faded, maybe they tweaked something in this relation too.

Also why despite being so technologically advanced Tata Sky does not have an automatic display light switchover option on boxes like it is there in airtel. When signal is there light remains red or green (off or on mode) and when there is no signal received it turns orange. Even in rains no need to switch on tv to see if signals r back. If ur box is in on mode then light will change as per signal of channel u r tuned into and in standby it depends on signal of home/landing channel which is usually on strongest tp of operator

@Choco7905 i'm not doubting you but it seems sketchy since DEN has the same policy in all the states that they operate. All SD & HD for 275? Damn. I was paying 460 before the regulations came into effect. It definitely seems to be a ghotala to me. Whatever is the case if people are happy then we can't do much about it.

Bro even on DEN website no such packs are given as said by choco bro.

Either LCO is not following TRAI rules or is paying NCF from his pocket. If he is paying from his pocket, he will go in loss soon.

NCF is fee charged by MSO, and not LCO. Just some share of it is given to LCO.

DEN doesn't have 0 NCF policy anywhere so the lco is going some gadbad.

Anyways we are going off topic bringing in cable here
