Don't buy value pack, instead choose only Telugu channels and calculate the amount
Dth operators including svp bouquets, which will lead to price hike. We have no choice as Ncf pack prices has increased recently 😴

Star and viacom18 packs are combined if this two network was seperate dth has to choose packs from 2 network each for example star 50 and viacom18 50rs if we add both 100+rs But now it will be easy.and this will not affect dth and cable operator
Earlier Star Cheapest bouquet was for 57/- (incl. Star Plus & Star Sports 1,2,3) & Viacom 18 cheapest pack was for 29/- (incl. Colors, sports 18 1) which means in 86/- we (Hindi users) were getting almost all important Star & Colors channel.

Now if we choose base pack of Jiostar which cost 110/- (24/- increase) we are getting less numbers of channels then the previous combined.

Also what if I watch only Star Plus & Star Sports channel & don't want colors or Sports 18 then why is there no option for such.

What if Jio also busy Zee tomorrow then JioStar base price will increase to 200/- (NCF extra) for combined channels (star, Viacom 18 & Zee) then Would you justify the pack??

DTH operators are the real looser in this game and not the customers.

Customer will try to choose optimistic one either by dth or through mobile TV or OTT for their costliest serials. But due to price hike, dth subscription will slowdown loosing business.

Jio TV+ might start iptv for all users with NTO prices without NCF, which reduces NCF to 0 and thus JioStar revenue will boost.

Content producers: JioStar broadcaster
Virtual DTH provider (iptv): JioTV+
Data Provider: Jio Sim + Jio Fiber
Cheapest OTT provider: Jio Cinema + hotstar

In single word, Jio will rule the entertainment world with crores of advertisement revenue and SaaS model.

it's going to hurt more to most of the Cable DTH operators and Broadcasters like Sony/Zee. SIPL here Ruling party will play with everyone and they will avoid those platforms, who knows one day SIPL channels may become Exclusive to Reliance owns distribution platforms.

Imo, Ruling party might buy small stakes in Zee and Sun in future.
