it is testing by sony to enter kannada market. but if all these shows are already shown, what will they show when they enter?. tenali rama is not getting good ratings.

Sony itself is a brand and people are aware of the brand value from electronic items. It will not be that much difficult like Siri Kannada to gain popularity in Karnataka. They can easily claim top 4 position with Kannadada Kotyadipathi and few original shows in first year.

As existing content of Sony is not native, it might not get good ratings if dubbed.
