Star Suvarna was good till it got rebranded. After rebrand, stopped many good serials, quality of reality shows reduced. No good parivar awards every year. In one sentence, lost its non-fictional shows team to others.

The Star Suvarna lost its brand when they dragged AmruthaVarshini. After this still not able to come back to its position. The channel got huge TRP when they brought Sudeep, Rakshitha to small screen for the first time. Even there was a debate, not to host any shows by actors. Kannadada kotyadipathi all made channels to get No.1 TRP. Now no such programs and branding spirit, except individual programs campaign to sustain their viewers.

Colors Kannada also lost its brand when they dragged AgniSakshi. After this lost huge viewers and still not come back to its position. BBK followed by new serials made channel to get very good TRP.

ZEE kannada always at 3-4 position for many years managed to get No.1 position by resuming back its SaReGaMaPa, Comedy Kiladigalu and other new shows. First they targetted weekends slots and launched new serials whenever others getting weeken, which took couple of years to reach No.1. Public tv was its adv. partner.
