Kaon Receivers STB to STB upgrade method
1. Program download
A. Make the master mode in a STB.
i. Press the UP(Front) – UP(Front) – UP(Front) – RECALL(RCU)
ii. LED display “PPPP”.
iii. Master is ready.
B. Connect RS-232C cable from the master STB to the slave STB.
C. Turn on the power of the slave STB.
D. Program is transferred.
E. Turn off the power of the slave STB.
F. Disconnect RS-232C cable from the slave STB.
G. Master STB is ready for another slave STB.
H. Repeat from 1.B.
2. Data download
A. Make the master mode in a STB.
i. Press the UP(Front) – UP(Front) – UP(Front) – TEXT(RCU)
ii. LED display “CCCC”.
iii. Master is ready.
B. Connect RS-232C cable from the master STB to the slave STB.
C. Turn on the power of the slave STB.
D. Data is transferred.
E. Turn off the power of the slave STB.
F. Disconnect RS-232C cable from the slave STB.
G. Master STB is ready for another slave STB.
H. Repeat from 2.B.
2. Data download
A. Make the master mode in a STB.
i. Press the UP(Front) – UP(Front) – UP(Front) – TEXT(RCU)
ii. LED display “CCCC”.
iii. Master is ready.
B. Connect RS-232C cable from the master STB to the slave STB.
C. Turn on the power of the slave STB.
D. Data is transferred.
E. Turn off the power of the slave STB.
F. Disconnect RS-232C cable from the slave STB.
G. Master STB is ready for another slave STB.
