I'm going to Write my review mainly in a pros and cons format.
Pros:
1.Excellent Quality of mic and its wire.
2.Length of wire is very long. Its around 5m, I guess.
3.USB end of the wire easily attaches in the front TS Port.
4.New songs updated every month.
5.13 Albums to choose from right now.Each album has appx 5 songs.
6.Scoring is pretty accurate.
7.Video of the song is of very nice quality along with lyrics.
8.The word sung by the singer is highlighted in bright and noticeable yellow colour.
9.Option to listen only the instrumental part of the song.
10.You get a cardboard box to keep the mic and the wire.
11.If you don't want to sing the whole song you can quit the song in-between and you still get a score and accordingly the software analyses the performance.
12.Warranty of mic increases if you get your STB's warranty increased.
Neutral:
1.Scoring is extremely easy, once you know how to.
2.STB loads the song in the recorder.Hence,no buffering.
3.You also hear yourself singing.
Cons:
1.Very slow UI.
2.Can only be bought by a TSHD+ suscriber as it requires the hard disk.
3.More songs in the list will be appreciated by customer after he pays 1990/- .
4.A big disadvantage is that this mic cannot be used on a laptop etc.
[I haven't tried, but it may work if someone is equipped with a proper software]
5.NO special warranty.Warranty is same as that of your STB. If you don't have one, then the mic also is warranty-less.
6.You can easily fool the software by just tapping the mic.
7.The quality of switch off/on button on mic could have been a little better in my opinion.
8.The home screen of the channel is really dumb.It doesn't even tell if the mic is attached or is it even switched on or not.
Conclusion: Worth it if you party hard. Do not take for daily use. I have used it in three parties till now.
