Yes the best example i can give is North East Live which has got licence rename clearance from MIB with News Live Odisha in year 2016 but now Mib is publishing it
When a broadcaster launches a channel, they either need to get a new licence from MIB which is a long + tedious process so some take the other route of renting a third party licence which mostly is of a defunct channel. As these r temporary licence have an expiry date , they keep entering such arrangement with other players to keep the channel on air. Whenever an appication is sent for renaming such licences, name of the concerned channel reappears on MIB list at small intervals
