factory reset is not remedy. D2H not allow the user to choose / revert to old software. Its always controlled by them. Its my experience. If any expert advice on this then I am lucky.

Great way is call cc & they will suggest you few ways even you face problem, they will send an engineer. If even the problem not solve they will change the box with older box if you allow.

I think their lifetime offer still exist. Take advantage of it. No charges you need to pay. If any out of order part need to replace they can charge you amount for it. Box replacement is free as per my knowledge from last experience.

special things in old software are
a) less pixelation
b) last viewed channel after switch on STB
c) stable and bright pic quality
and OLD IS ALWAYS GOLD

True old is gold. Dish tv, sundirect, airtel, d2h older software were best by features.
