SONY had already aquired NZ cricket rights but they wanted to launch SONYESPN with INDIA-PAKISTAN cricket series which unfortunately didnt happen.

What's the connection of Sony ESPN with India-Pakistan Series??

Exactly, the cricket rights of Pakistan international cricket is with Ten Sports and that of India is with Star Sports..

They should launch it by telecasting high profile series between AUSTRALIA-NEW ZEALAND which is in NEW ZEALAND......
CRICKET will be high on agenda.

If they have the New Zealand cricket rights, then they may start the broadcast with Pakistan's tour of New Zealand.
