The series with Pakistan was supposed to be Pakistan's home series and Ten Sports has rights for that. So no matter what if that series were to take place it would have been broadcast on Ten Network irrespective of the venue. Broadcast rights are commercial agreements between 2 parties i.e. PCB & Ten while the third party which is BCCI has no say in it. So Sony is nowhere in the picture.
Moreover if SONY were to telecast Australia's tour of New Zealand, then they would have started advetorials for that by now, atleast on their website. If you still believe that SPN has rights for it then post some credible source.

TEN has broadcasting rights for Srilankan home series as well yet the series was telecasted on SIX due to non-agreement between BCCI and TEN........

Regaring adverisements they will begin shortly after conclusion of Pakistan tour to NZ........

Bro it wasn't due to non agreement. The broadcast rights for that series was sold separately because it wasn't part of the FTP. It was a special series which was not the part of the long term agreement between TEN & Sri Lankan cricket board. That series was in lieu of the series in which Sri Lanka travelled to India for 5 ODIs in 2014 after West Indies team left in middle of the India West Indies bilateral series.

It'll good if they use only ESPN in the logo. and run their promos like "This is SPN And you are watching ESPN"

I was also expected as same

This is SPN network
And u r watching ESPN

SONY ESPN will be a different channel...KIX will remain KIX.

PAK-IND would never have been televised on TEN bcz their head was oftenly threatning to start a rebel league.
BCCI was and is pissed with TEN....

The first hurdle if u remember correctly was UAE and the second one was the rebel broadcasters....
Goverment issue was raised later.....

You are wrong.

Kix is being rebranded as Sony ESPN.

The initial JV between Sony and ESPN specifically stated that.

If they have the New Zealand cricket rights, then they may start the broadcast with Pakistan's tour of New Zealand.

They do not have New Zealand rights.
