You are talking multiple things. One is about broadcasting, another is about shooting and finally about viewing in TV.

For HD, if shooting didn't happen in HD, no point of blaming TV channel for not broadcasting HD quality and so can't blame TV set for not giving HD quality.

I replied to you on your complaint about Star Gold HD channel's quality based on the above fact. You yourself said, some of the movies shown in Star Gold HD are not true HD. That means you are agreeing other movies are true HD. So, it is not channel's problem but problem of movie. So don't blame any HD channel for not giving HD quality but blame the source of the content.

The above fact applies to 4K as well. First let me answer your claim on upscaled 4K contents by TV sets. Yes, they may be doing it for upscaling JD content. But if we are connecting true 4K content, we can experience the true 4K. So don't blame TV sets?

Then should we blame channel? No. Many of us know about recent 4K broadcasting of world cup cricket. If they can give it in 4K, why can't other shows provided the shows are available in 4K? If the shooting of the show didn't happen in 4K, then there is a problem with the content.

Now coming back to the 4K broadcasting of this movie, do you have any proof that the movie was not shot in 4K? I don't have any proof that it was shot in 4K. So I have to wait and see.

In case if it was not shot in 4K and channel is claiming it as 4K, then we can blame Star Gold channel for false claiming.

Has soon has shows like Big Boss and sporting events like WWE, IPL, any major Cricket event, Spanish LA liga and BPL gets started to be telecasted in 4K in India then only I would say its the perfect time to invest on 4K Box otherwise I will just stick with my HD box and HDTV

It's just a 2 day service that would be provided by Star India for the premier of Bajrangi Bhaijaan and not a permanent channel,thank God adtv will not waste permanent space due to this 4k channel :s :s :s

Has soon has shows like Big Boss and sporting events like WWE, IPL, any major Cricket event, Spanish LA liga and BPL gets started to be telecasted in 4K in India then only I would say its the perfect time to invest on 4K Box otherwise I will just stick with my HD box and HDTV

I am not talking about investing in 4K. I saw a reply from you saying Star Gold is not showing some movies in HD thought it is a HD channel and so I replied for that. The same explanation I extended for 4K channels too. Investing in 4K - Your wish.

Breaking new ground every now and then in the television space, Star India is yet again taking the lead by premiering the Salman Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan in 4K on three direct-to-home (DTH) platforms.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan will be the first Hindi movie to be premiered in 4K on Tata Sky, Videocon and Airtel DTH’s Star Gold 4K channel. This also marks the launch of the Star Gold 4K service, which is especially delivered for the film premiere. However, it will be available only for two days (10 & 11 October) on the three DTH platforms.

Along with Star Gold 4K, the movie will also be simulcast on the Star Gold HD and SD on 11 October, 2015 at 12.30 pm.

With the service, the channel aims to provide its viewers a superlative viewing experience of the film. As a build up to the 4K premiere, the channel will showcase specially created promos and short format content videos in the same service. The content will be delivered in the same way as Video On Demand content is housed by the respective DTH operators
