Dip is correct, other dth are created pressure on isro [specially sun dth ]to give tp if they give to tata sky and this is the reason of delaying tp. Thats why isro take decision to make open market for foreign satellite but only for vsat and dth. That operator can provide capacity with direct permission of central govt. No need of isro in this matter. And because of this d2h also not getting extra bandwidth from st2

If the open skies policy comes into force, that will really allow DTH services to boom. But if Tata Sky has a contract with ISRO for additional TPs and they delay providing the TPs because of pressure from other DTH providers, they deserve to get the pants sued off them!

isro gives reason and assurance to ts then whats need to sue on isro. Isro is acted from 2012 on this issue[as there was a tender to for expansion of capacity in sept 2012] also they are in final process of their proposal of change in sky policy.

Well, aren't TS themselves speaking of legal action? They are waiting many years for additional TPs at the expense of revenue growth and expansion of services. If ISRO makes good on its assurances, that's fine. But surely TS cannot or should not wait indefinitely for ISRO to come through on its promises. As customers of TS, we are also getting impatient. Nothing like it if the open skies policy materialises or TS gets it's TPs soon, but there is a limit to waiting and ISRO has a contractual obligation to fulfill.

If ISRO was capable, why D2h, Dishtv, Airtel using foreign satellites?

India should opt for Open Sky policy. Let dth providers decide which Satellites they opt without any restriction.

Yes it should be like this because ISRO is not capable of providing sufficient TPs.
