MUMBAI: Season 8 of ‘Bigg Boss’ has pushed
Colors ahead of Zee TV among the Hindi general
entertainment channels (GECs).
In the week ended 27 September, Colors was the
biggest gainer as it added 19 GVMs (gross
television viewership in million). ‘Bigg Boss 8’
opened with 7.6 TVM (television viewership in
million).
Life OK also gained 12 GVMs during the week,
as per TAM data (sourced from subscribers) for
the week.
Here is how the Hindi GECs performed:
Star Plus remained at the top with 593 GVMs, up
from 580 GVMs in the trailing week.
Colors jumped to No. 2 with 431 GVMs, up from
412 GVMs.
Zee TV was at No. 3 with 427 GVMs, down from
443 GVMs.
Life OK was 4th with 307 GVMs, up from 295.
SAB was at No. 5 with 262 GVMs, down from
269.
SET was at No. 6 with 247 GVMs, down from
264.
Sony Pal was at No.7 with 26 GVMs, up from 24
GVMs.
Zindagi was at No.8 with 26 GVMs, down from
32.
Sahara One was at the bottom with 11 GVMs,
same as last week.
