RDTV to be acquired by VEECON Media & TV Ltd (VMTL)

First they say, we are not renewing our license, and ask users to switch to other DTH services.

Now, they say they are not shutting down and will continue. So haven't they gone back on their words.
There were some RDTV users who didnt want to change as they were happy with them, but were forced to change as they were closing down, now what ???

Also a non DTH company is acquiring them, and we all know that a non DTH company who doesnt know the industry will not be easy to run the company.

If Jio had bought RDTV then game would have been more interesting

Who knows Jio would have given all channels free for first 6 months

So with remaining 1% will they come back in a big way ???

No big way. Nothing they will do.
If they could do soo much existing players can do evenmore. This cant be like jio vs airtel.
Even if they try to acquire new customers it wont be easy.

I dont think so. Because JIO itself is a big brand. So if they did direct acquisition and named it jio, people would have thronged cc by now!
Brand image counts, and who better than mukesh ambani knows it.There is no mask
