In long run its benefit for the users thats what financial experts telling , but I am not believing them
its highly and definitely going to burn our pockets for a year
How is it going to be beneficial to the users? Even if they reduce the bouquet price to half it will not benefit the users. We will still be paying more for less number of channels.
Here is small calculation:
For example Star’s all south HD premium pack is 145/- rupees now, if they reduce it to 75/- .
Zee all in one south HD which is 120/-, if they reduce to 60/-
Sony Happy India Platinum HD 90/-, if it becomes 45/-
TV18 Hindi family HD is 50/-, if they reduce to 25/-
Discovery HD pack 10/- and reduced to 5/-
Eenadu pack 29/- and reduced to 15/-
Disney universal bouquet 10/- and HD bouquet 8/- if they club them and reduce both to 10/-
Turner family HD pack 12.50 and reduced to 6/-
Sun telugu super HD 80/- and reduced to 40/-
Times HD pack 20/- and they reduce to 10/-
154 + 75 + 60 + 45+ 25 + 5 + 15 + 10 + 6 + 40 + 10 + 54(approx tax) = 499/- total.
Here also we will not get all the channels. There are many other packs. Also we will not be getting SD version of the channels.
Before in Tatasky we use to get all the channels for around 600/- rupees. Now even if you spend 3k every month you will not get all the SD and HD channels.
