Are you getting these videos from Dailymotion? I could not find them on YouTube. Anyway, it’s great to feel nostalgic about the old Star Plus graphics and logo.

p.s. Star Plus, not Star Gold.

All Feroz a Nadiadwala films with star plus star gold launched in 2000 as classic movie channel in 2002 star gold rebranded as all bollywood movie channel from 1993 to 2000 zee cinema was the only movie channel which was available in cable tv.

I think these movies Satellite Rights With UTV

Anybody know when these movies Aired last on Viacom and Zee

Maybe they owned earlier and later satellite rights acquired by other co producer. If UTV has then star/disney will get these shortly but i doubt this is the case

If i may elaborate on this...Star Network earlier from 2002 to 2012 or so had 1st output deal with UTV then after agreement end all of this library shifted to UTV Movies while later released (post 2013) UTV films aired exclusively on Zee. Now older and as well new UTV films back on star/disney. As far as i know none of UTV owned films ever moved to sony or viacom18 hence Tees Maar Khan, Thank You on viacom18 can b result of agreement with Hari Om production or it could b part of some earlier sharing pact between UTV Movies and Viacom18 which will mean these films shifting to star/disney once agreement expires. When this happens i expect Tips Films (shemaroo owned) library also moving to star/disney while UTV will stop airing viacom18 films

I think star/disney will rent out much of their current dubbed south indian film library to Dhinchaak while acquiring more bollywood films. Already seeing it happening for many films

I really hope Sony being a profitable network should launch niche hindi and English movie channel as it has many critically acclaimed films which do not get proper airing. Also in addition to this (though off topic) they should launch a new Travel and Lifestyle channel in partnership with BBC
