Discussion Satellite rights of Hindi movies

Big thanks to their hindi movie cluster head. Had shared feedback with him on twitter few months back that as most of the mass audience watches dubbed south indian movies on SD channel hence HD feed should be made a pure play bollywood movie channel which will help utilize its vast bollywood film library properly.

Planning to send similar feedback to hindi movie chs cluster head of Sony. Hopefully they too will bring in required changes which will eventually fetch good results

Thanks bro. If the airing on HD feeds continues this way, i’m going to definitely subscribe to colors cineplex HD on ala carte basis. Just like Sony max, I had earlier removed this channel from subscription due to constant dubbed content.

As for your feedback to Sony Max, I doubt if they’ll consider it. Also, they don’t good bollywood movies library now. Commercial films like 3 id*ots, Bahubali etc are there and are often repeated every weekends.

Which film was premiered last on colors TV ? I believe they had stopped airing WTP since long. Shershaah gotta be exception.

In GEC category, its only Zee TV which still airs films on weekends.

Apne came to Sony this June. And this is frequent airing which Colors Cineplex did not give it. So yes I am kind of liking it. Plus this is common in Zee channels of airing the movie on same channels
