Discussion Satellite rights of Hindi movies

Watched Atrangi Re today. It’s kind of offbeat good cinema which I’m sure will be sidelined by Sony max post it’s satellite premiere.

I so wish Disney star had acquired the satellite rights too.

KGF series will be now with zee sony both and soon VVC films and other movies will be seen on zee channels. Sony will get many big banners from zee.

All depends on whethers concerned banners will b ready to alternatives current agreement and include zee or sony in it. Only those films will see sharing where this condition is met. I don't see T Series or Goldmines films airing on zee

With Bhuj and Bell Bottom premieres clashing. It will be Bhuj that would be the clear winner. Despite being an average movie when compared to Bell Bottom. Thanks to Star's way of promoting it across broadcasters and amazing promo work.

Very True. I feel sony has lost out on bollywood viewers bcoz of dubbed south indian movies centered approach. Many bollywood viewers do not watch or subscribe it bcoz of this. Even films which have potential to succeed do not get as much ratings as it would have got on star/disney hindi movie chs. Same is case with viacom18
Even incase of zee bollywood films tend to get somewhat lower ratings when compared to star/disney. There r numerous instances where big bollywood films on zee Hindi movie chs get high ratings on premiere but fade off later, their repetition strategy also might b the reason

True. Sony Max acquiring so many of such films but issue remains that they do not have a channel to air these kind of films.... Eventually after initial few telecast these films either r aired in watershed hrs or completely disappear.
Sony should immediately launch new channel for offbeat cinema like Star Gold Select or reserve Max HD for bollywood films b it popular or offbeat just like Zee Cinema HD. Also with sony - zee merger Zee Cinema SD should consider turning into a more bollywood focused channel, Sony can transfer its bo library to them
.... Sony Max cannot turn bollywood centric as i do not see goldmines agreeing to incorporate zee in current agreement for sharing films

Sir I saw the promo it's 4 ka 4 shanivar 2movie schedule confirm but 2movie telecast name not confirmed and all movie telecast at Saturday,chase premier 9 Jan and 9 Jan not is Saturday
