Except Batla House , Section 375 and Kabir Singh Sony has mostly received negatively received films while Zee has a mixed bag of films and Star has the biggest hits. Today's release Marjaavaan has also added negatively received list movies for sony. Pagalpanti will also receive negative reviews (Comedies generally receive) and the only hope Sony has is Pati Patni aur woh. This year Star has the most satellite appeal movies while Sony has only 5 of them (Satellite Shankar, Pagalpanti, Batla House, Marjaavaan (South Masala Type story) and Pati Patni aur Woh (initial value)).
Next year Sony also has few movies which have a satellite appeal if Tseries deal taken into consideration
Except Street Dancer 3D (I hope Sony gets it) , there are very few movies for Sony to showcase its satellite appeal.
Motichoor Chaknachoor is also a satellite appeal movie but I wonder how would Viacom use it
