Dilwale aired on 10th March on Sony Max(HD/SD) in morning slot
Then on Monday on Sony Wah at 7 PM
Then yesterday at 10:30 AM on Sony Wah
Currently airing on Sony Wah
Again in early morning slot on Sony Max(HD/SD) tomorrow
And Again on Sony Wah at 3:30 PM tomorrow

Is this the new Sooryavansham of Sony?

Wrong on many levels
1) Panorama has no ongoing deal with zee. ( look at their recent productions).
2) Here Ajay Devgan films is main producer and panorama is co producer.
3) Rudra was produced by applause entertainment and bbc studios.
4) Look at t series Ajay productions , star always got them, so that deal is most likely over. Apparent with no hotstar rights as well
I know u hope the star Ajay deal continues, like we were hoping the Sony yrf deal continues and didn’t believe it till we saw the star logo in war. But please do so in terms of other channels rights as well .
Not saying u are biased but when it comes to nadiadwala films moving u defend it saying probably 3-4 films are only moving and they’ll return to star. Even we can say the same about yrf Sony but we can believe only what is in front of us.

Buddy, firstly i will again not give a clarification about my neutrality as i have done so number of times in the past.

Panorama Films (Kumar Mangat Pathak) films r mostly with zee or sony, u can urself check the list. Ofcourse there r exceptions where Ajay Devgn Sir has bought rights and thus these films reside with star/disney or a film like Khuda Hafiz where again star/disney might have bought all rights. Also quite possible that they may not have an exclusive partner and therefore for Runway34 they would have gone ahead with Zee. Remember there have been films like Satyagraha or Himmatwala which had Ajay sir in it but satellite rights went with Zee, same ways there r films like Chhalang where Ajay Sir was producer but still satellite rights went to viacom18 and FYI all old Ajay Devgn Production films r currently with sony or viacom18. All i can tell u is that i do not just come to the forum and make a comment, there is thorough research involved about when, why and how each film from a producer or actor went to particular broadcaster

Anyways the article everyone is quoting about Ajay Devgn sir signing agreement with Amazon Prime Video seems to b from November 2020 and since then his future produced/acted releases have all come to disney/star. Infact Son Of Sardar was also renewed and even many of his films were added/readded on disney+hotstar. So i see no merit in believing that agreement between both these parties is ending.

Lastly everyone seems to be talking about Maidaan being with Zee Cinema, again it has Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios as producers too so it is quite obvious that Zee Cinema will have the rights. Which Zee Studio produced film has gone to any other network, whichever producer they come along with for a movie then the satellite rights always r bought by Zee Cinema. So here there is no chance of star/disney getting this film.

Also if u follow star/disney channels , OTT , Promo ads or Social Media handles of Ajay Sir and Star/Disney then u will frequently notice both praising or thanking each other or promoting something together. Star/Disney has been a great platform for Ajay Sir's films and same way Ajay Sir's films have been great success for star/disney. No reason why they will part ways so easily without a reason

I am noting down this post, let's see in near future who is proven correct

Well this can be the only hope left for Star because movie being directed by Ajay devgan and produced too, with major controls being held by Ajay devgan it cant just go to Zee unless and untill there is a deal involved as per bollywood hungama article Ajay devgan had sold the digital rights to Amazon while it was also mentioned a top channel has bagged Satelite with Star exiting post Maidaan. So the chances will be very minimal that star might be still in game maidaan may go to star but post that it looks ZEE

Certain films of Ajay Devgn Sir r available on both disney+hotstar as well as Amazon Prime Video. So maybe there is some dual digital agreement or 2nd Pay Window agreement with Amazon.
Right now i see now solid proof that star/disney and Ajay Sir agreement has ended

I am sensing that star/disney is all set to get Sony Pictures Films and TV Series library soon just like what happened in USA. Infact Netflix India already seems to b having 1st pay window deal with Sony Pictures. All this seems to exactly working in pattern how deal between these companies shaped up in USA

Star will start its game in June just like last year

Also, I feel that Star may acquire old library of Excel/Aamir Khan Productions


And if their deal with Ajay Devgn is over, they will now try to have a deal with Salman Khan

Star Gold has deleted this reel & Dhoom 2 is going to air tomorrow at 8:20 AM on Sony Max 2

So I think all the remaining YRF movies which are still with Sony will expire on 31st March just like previous year and we may see them on Star Gold from June/July

Movie Satellite Rights business different, Broadcaster producer bonding and friendship not big matter nowadays money talks everything, you can't predict who will bagged satellite rights, I thought Goldmines/Dhinchaak already grabbed some of Biggie satellite rights including Runway 34 As everyone knows that Goldmines Appointed CEO, Head for Dhinchaak, So nothing is impossible for Goldmines

Dhinchaak just started game, wait for some months Shemaroo, Eros, Ultra already covered maximum movies in All Broadcasters, they will start real game in Satellite Rights
