Sony Max is airing Tashan ( 2008 ) after a long time on 18th March on the day of Release of Bachchan Pandey .

This might b some regular promotion of Bachchan Panday movie (as Akshay Kumar plays Bachchan Panday in Tashsn) as sony/zee likely to have its satellite rights or could also b a paid promotion being done by the producer as Friday 8 pm is such a key slot and rarely given to not so good movies. I am still not sure whether star/disney or sony/zee will get this film

It seems that the 2nd batch of yrf movies shifting soon to star, the last batch also were last aired in March only last year. This month less played movies like bachna ae haseeno, New York aired on max in afternoon and some others like thoda pyaar thoda magic on max2 . So it looks like Sony is giving a farewell to these movies otherwise they never played them in prime time slots even when they were new.
Its funny how they never ignore those movies for so long and then remember to play them once they're leaving 🤣

Can someone list out the movies produced by UTV Motion Pictures & FOX Star Studios which is owned and controlled by Disney ? Considering everything is all over the place & it's really hard to figure out who owns what. Disney's Streaming Services including Hotstar library will be merged sooner rather than later. I want to know how many Bollywood films will be available on the potential streaming leader. Kindly don't mention movies that Hotstar has acquired from outside studios.
