As i said Vishesh Films has satellite right deals with multiple FTA and pay channels so quite difficult to exactly judge the modality of coverage of agreement with each of them

I can also explain how all these movies rotated and present status but then it will be time consuming hence avoiding it. Also for most members it will be confusing to understand, these kind of deals r based on range of factors
But These FTA channels Satellite Rights Deal with Vishesh films going to end soon
Vishesh films Banner movies Shift to Sony and Star
Like YRF Movies Sony and Star
Balaji motion Pictures Movies to Zee and Star

If Shakuntala Devi biopic becomes a success then it would be interesting to see about SPN Productions future moves. They should bag the distribution rights and release under Sony Pictures brand so that they have a backup to look upon since it's primary partner YRF has shifted.

Buddy many times there r reasons other than just agreement with banners which come to forefront while decoding who will be satellite partner of certain movies. The Dirty Picture for example might be with Star (been so since last 3 years or so) bcoz it was distributed by AA Films or some other actor must have retained rights and sold it to them... Balaji Films has nothing to do with this as far as agreement with Star India is concerned

Balaji motion Pictures sold 3 to 5 movies Package deal to Sony many years back
Including Shootout at Wadala movie
But Sony acquired movies for long term
I think Jio acquired Balaji motion pictures movies satellite rights and sold to Star
Jio have Some Agreement with Balaji motion pictures
Also Jio acquired 25 % stake in Balaji telefilms
