Bro in sony this films got fantastic ratings yes due to low PQ in Disney-Star this films got low ratings. Mere yaar ki shaadi hai, saathiya, yeh dillagi, lamhe and hum tum not much aired in Disney-Star channels.
Fantastic ratings on Sony? That’s why these movie were never part of their prime slots since past 2 yrs and whatever airing happened, was on Sony max 2 with 20 mins Ad break.

Star did quite good justice and shuffled schedule timings too right from morning, afternoon to prime slots. Also, PQ was up to mark as I had seen on HD channels. Not sure about SD quality though but it surely won’t be that worst which can affect its ratings as claimed.

RUNWAY 34 satellite rights with Zee Cinema.

Zee Cinema may well just b media partners , is there any specific mention 9f them being broadcast partners? Let's wait for film to release to know the answer

The only point is most yrf films are not satellite friendly, which is being proven by star also not giving them premium slots.
As far as ratings go , it is funny how u are saying Sony would have competed with star
For the longest time I can remember Sony absolutely trounced star and star was lagging behind at 3rd as near as the war tv premier.
Post that star dominated for a year and after that we don’t have much evidence.

Bro, i think u missed the key part.... I said competed well in bollywood films category. Sony Max may have garnered more ratings than Star Gold for a long time but i always knew that ignoring bollywood films will impact them adversely going forward and same has happened.

Most of the YRF films r TV friendly, it is just broadcaster needs to promote , schedule it well and have a good reach among bollywood audience. Wait and See almost all YRF films will do well on star/disney hindi movie chs

I completely disagree that viacom18 channels has good PQ AQ and a big competitor is on the way for Disney-Star may be in July or August late but latest once merger starts between zee-sony history will be created in all generic films.

Well u can disagree but Viacom18 have very good audio and video quality. About Sony - Zee merger resulting in strong competition to star/disney hindi movie chs, i certainly hope so but seeing how despite having massive bollywood films library zee is regularly airing more n.more dubbed south indian movies, i m doubtful of ur statement really coming out true

Bhai media partner is different and satellite partner is different why don't u understand simple thing zee cinema is satellite movie channel it not comes under media partner category Runway 34 satellite rights with Zee Cinema and its clearly mentioned in the movie trailer. Whenever a movie or banner moves from Disney-Star u will become frustrated. please except the truth.

It's been a long time since Talvar was aired on Star Gold Select. I think Star should look forward to launch a new channel completely dedicated to Telecast Class Movies like Talvar , MSD , Finding Fanny etc. as these movies don't get much airings on Main Channels
