looks like most of us don't know that Pen Studio's Jayantilal Gada movie acquisition business Head at entire Zee network, even he sold maximum movies including South dubbed movies to Star Gold

Thanks for sharing this information anna. I was not aware of this but PEN - Zee bonding is quite good since 90s. A
Anyways so i searched on internet for articles stating this and i did find them, in one of them it is stated that Pen India had acquired films (on behalf of zee) from Eros back in 2010 for period of 7 yrs.

So in that articles i noticed that star/disney too acquired films from Eros back then like Ra One, Anjana Anjani, Rockstar, etc which had shifted to zee sometime back. What i want to convey is that it seems zee got Housefull, Hey Baby, Anjana Anjani thru Eros (available on Eros Now too) and not thru NG Grandson. Similarly Sony has Mujhse Shaadi Karogi thru shemaroo , star/disney has Waqt Hamaara Hai thru shemaroo and even viacom18 has 4 NG Grandson films namely Jeet, Jaaneman, Judwaa, Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega thru shemaroo. I think many of the Eros ownes films might expire from Zee and Shemaroo owned ones might expire from star/disney and all these will shift to viacom18 soon or maybe Star/Disney will acquire these.

Raju Chacha is often being repeated on sony hence it might also shift, i think its rights r also with some library company.

On Zee Network Hindi Network chs too much repetition of films is happening from across banners and some of these might also shift .

If Pen Studios is indeed still acquiring films on behalf of zee and if bonding still remains strong then what i find wrong is that they r investing more money on acquiring dubbed south indian movies rather than bollywood films and secondly scheduling of films seems not attractive with few bollywood films being repeated and more dubbed south indian films being given slots. If u notice that not only Pen Studio dubbed south indian film library gets prominence over bollywood films but even incase of bollywood films which r aired , many of these r from Pen Studio library and not at all good. Not only this but zee airs films like Gundagardi (1994) on Sunday afternoon on zee anmol cinema , i do not think many would b interested in watching this. All i can say is zee's dependence of Pen Studio bollywood and dubbed cinema film library needs to reduced and their scheduling needs vast improvement for channels to succeed on ratings chart

Since last 1 or 2 months they r airing more Pen Studio library films which may even indicate that these r shifting out soon
