Today marks 10 years since the release of Vicky Donor, one of my favourite films of all time. This was the film that launched Ayushmann Khurrana, one of the most loved and unconventional actors of our age, and I would say the Aamir Khan of the new generation. Also, it launched Yami Gautam, who far from being the ‘Fair Glow & Lovely Girl’ has steadily built a name for herself over the years in this cut-throat industry. Annu Kapoor, Dolly Ahluwalia and the grandmother Kamlesh Gill all delivered standout performances. No wonder it won a National Award!

Incidentally, the premiere of Vicky Donor is the very frst picture in the Bollywood movie premieres thread!
