Just asking your prediction bro , when do u think KGF 2 will premiere. Will it take 6 months for it to come as Sony has a reputation now to delay movies till 4-5 months to premiere on TV

Well these day TV premiere window is shorter after OTT or Theater release but depends upon sony....may be they air it late as it would cost somewhat less (acquiring rights) to do so or it is their strategy to keep big gap

Most of the SRK and Red Chilies acquired movies are leaving Netflix by May end...
So new OTT and satellite partner in cards.??

Quite sure star/disney will acquire both digital and satellite rights of Red Chillies film library..

Right now Red Chillies has quite a complex agreement with 2 broadcasters. All Madras Talkies and post 2013 Red Chillies films r with zee. Chennai Express recently shifted to viacom18 but i think it did so bcoz of involvement of Cineyug. Even all the Cineyug films shifted from sony to viacom18. Red Chillies acquired rights of these movies few years though it looks like rights r being managed separately for these. If Happy New Year or shifts to viacom18 then i would say that all Red Chiilies owned films r shifting to viacom18, i think Madras Talkies films r sold in combo with this

Viacom18 has the all the Pre 2010 Red Chillies films. In future maybe viacom18 will get all Red Chillies owned films from zee but i think in next few months all these will shift to star/disney.

Renewing a movie from a banner does not mean that agreement renewal with that banner has happened, just during the course of agreement duration if a film comes up for renewal then broadcasters can opt for it.

Part of Red Chillies Library , SRK bought rights from UTV around 2015 or so hence this is only Pre 2010 film which is with zee

Looks Like "Tango Charlie" & "Wanted (2009)" are on repeat mode on star/utv movie channels & zee movie channels respectively....

May be they are gonna shift again to another network.....sooner or later

Disney-Star has less films from goldmines like MCA, ghayal khiladi, the return of abhimanyu, Main tujhpe qurbaan, Main hoon rakshak all thus will move to goldmines soon.
