Bcoz they have build a robust bollywood audience base and get excellent ratings thru them. Dubbed Hollywood Movies too working well for them. They only air select dubbed south indian movies and few of these deliver good ratings on their chs.
This is why u r seeing so many bollywood films and banners shifting to star/disney since last 3 years and same will continue in future. Having great success rate in bollywood films is essential for hindi movie chs, all broadcasters need to maintain right balance between bollywood films and dubbed films to succeed. Being more driven by bollywood films is fine but being dependent on more dubbed south indian movies is surely bound to create problem
