Then there are even chances that Veer, London Dreams, tere naam, Partner can move back to Disney-star.
Even Yuvraaj, Salaam E Ishq, Kyon Ki...It's Fate can also be renewed by Disney-Star.
These Movies are very less shown after being renewed by Zee network - Veer, Partner, Tere Naam, Salaam E Ishq, Yuvraaj (except Kyon Ki...it's fate and Wanted), Disney-Star can do justice to these movies, because old SK movies are lot better than new ones and have potential to give high ratings on promotional and regular airings
Rights of Many of these films r owned by Eros, Reliance Entertainment . Few ones like Partner, Tere Naam, Hello Brother, I Proud To Be Indian, Maine Dil Tujhko Diya, Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya are most likely with Salman Khan sir.
Yuvvraj (2008) is part of Mukta Arts film library. Kyon Ki (2005), Salaam - E- Ishq are with Eros...maybe even London Dreams (2009). Unsure if Veer (2010) is with Reliance Entertainment or Salman Khan sir, latter is more likely as this movie shifted to zee when they renewed agreement with Salman Sir while other movies which were with Disney Star as part of their agreement with Reliance Entertainment still continue to be part of their library.
You are absolutely right. Not only old Salman Khan movies have good entertainment + repeat value but same holds true for bollywood films of others stars/banners/ directors.
Disney Star hindi movie channels are extremely successful as they air good number of such older bollywood movies alongwith new ones as well as dubbed hollywood movies + their scheduling strategy is quite good with minimum repetition , more number of bollywood movies airing at correct/appropriate slot suited for different audience type which tune into their channels at that particular time and thus it has helped them garner a large bollywood movie audience base ... This is a huge edge/advantage disney-star hindi movie channels hold over its competitors, none of other channels have managed to build a robust bollywood + dubbed hollywood movie audience base and sony-zee, viacom18 r mostly competing in the dubbed south indian movie segment.
If u would have noticed that disney-star hindi movie channels manage to get good/average ratings even for not so good bollywood films while average films Laxmii prove to be superhit on their channels ...all bcoz of their connect with bollywood audience where its competitors r lacking far behind. Same is the case for dubbed hollywood movies where no other broadcaster except Disney-Star has managed to get success and air wide array of such films across their hindi movie channels.
If u would have noticed then as i have sais earlier Dubbed South Indian Movies (barring some extremely popular old or new ones) won't get much ratings on their hindi movie channels. You can see in Top 10 dubbed south indian movies premiere list that Vikram, Vikrant Rona, Cedaver did not get even average ratings on 1st airing , even poorly made bollywood films like Bunty Aur Bubli 2 premiere managed to get ratings equal to 1st airing ratings of these dubbed south indian movies.
Disney - Star has a unique, distinct plus point (USP) which no one has hence it will continue to get extremely good viewership as long as it continues with its bollywood + dubbed hollywood movies strategy.. Over the last 4 or 5 years its hindi movie cluster content team have worked really hard to set up a library which consists of perfect mix of bollywood + dubbed hollywood movies which has translated into dedicated set of viewers which regularly watch such content across their hindi movie channels , this audience base is continuously growing and it gives their channels a very attractive positioning for brands / advertisers. Biggest thing is that disney-star took note of feedback which viewers like me shared with them through last many years and made changes while others just went by the trend of acquiring mostly dubbed south indian movies thus losing out on bollywood audience base and creating other issues which i have discussed in other thread here in many threads including the one below
So as u can see from BARC weekly ratings charts that Dhinchaak is getting most of the dubbed cinema audience from regions where Free Dish has strong presence (as other chs too in same table r mostly Free Dish ones) and mostly these would comprise of rural or semi rural areas. Add to this even...
