There are some films in 2000s and 10s which skipped theatrical release due to lack of distributors and was directly released in dvds and tv channels. Please list out those films

Was there any films which got Direct release in dvds and was telecasted in tv channels ?

"Jashnn: The Music Within (2009)" renewed by Zee, airing tomorrow on & Pictures SD at 11:34PM and on & Pictures HD at 10:07PM.

"Gangster (2006)" added in &XplorHD library and schedule, airing tomorrow at 10:52PM.

But Jashnn was with B4U from 2016/2017, many more are with B4U and Sony (Jannat, Murder, Jalebi and old ones).

Disney-Star has Raaz Series, Murder 2 & 3, Sadak 2, Foothpath, Blood Money, Tum Mile, Jannat 2, Aashiqui 2, Begum Jaan.

Viacom18 has "Film Star (2005)", aired in Watershed hours always on CC, CC HD & CCB.

Confirmed - Viahesh Films has entered into agreement with Zee as Crook will be airing tomorrow evening on &Pictures and it was earlier part of Disney-Star bollywood movie library.

Most of the movies airing today on Zee channels in premium slot (between 5pm and 10pm) were shown recently in the same slot.

Angaaray was shown on 17/2
Awarapan was shown on 25/2
Bachchan Pandey was shown on 20/2
Chori Chori Chupke Chupke was shown on 16/2
Dhamaal was shown on 19/2
Laadla was shown on 27/2

Tvwish has stopped listing SGS SD & HD airing schedules of movies since June 2022, when founds it reads "The Channel is inactive on our website currently, channel may be removed by the service provider or no longer supported by us".
So it is not possible to get recent airing dates and timings of SGS restricted movies.

Crook airs once a month just like Other vishesh films, so regular check can be done from "WhatsOnIndia" app or DTH/TV Schedule for SGS, &XPLORHD, CCB, CCS, etc.

It's happy moment that zee giving less aired vishesh films in prime slots like tumsa nahi dekha, kalyug, gangster, awarapan, kasoor waiting zeher, murder, jannat, the killer and other library from Disney-Star on zee channels. Also hoping vishesh/tseries movies moves back ko zee.

After initial airing many of these will mostly air on And Pictures HD and &Xplor HD. Films like Gangster, Kalyug, Awaarapan, The Killer, Jannat etc. has tremendous potential to be successful on TV but it needs to be promoted well and broadcaster needs to have strong bollywood audience base for achieving good ratings. Zee Still might not b able to get desired ratings bcoz they seem to b weak on the 2nd point/factor stated above , also apart from zee cinema other SD hindi movie channels of zee r rather having average picture quality and poor audio quality . If these movies aired on Disney- Star Hindi Movie Channels then i feel they would have proved more successful

Also most solo films of Abhishek Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi, Fardeen Khan, Saif Ali Khan even if they r good do not get good ratings on TV ....these still do not have big fan base or appeal among the TV audience as other prominent bollywood stars have thus again broadcasters tend to air their movies mostly on niche channels like And Xplor, Star Gold Select or once in a while on their main channels

What kind of logic is this bro if Disney-Star has so called good aq pq then films will be successful but zee has bad aq pq films will not do well does this line make any sense. Rather then Disney-Star if other broadcasters do something good appreciate them. Zee has started giving more priority to bollywood films.
