So happy for Sony Max 2 revamping into a proper Bollywood channel, moving out of its classic genre… but the question is why it is happening suddenly? Is it because of Zee merger or something else?

There might be 2 reasons. One is merger & another sony will launch new channels most probably. A year ago in a YouTube channel I saw a video where it is said that sony will launch channels like sony kids, sony max plus, sony Bollywood, sony trends. Now already sony yay jr promo is running. I don't know what exactly it is. If it's a new channel, then others are coming also from Sony

My question is : 'Has the Zee-Sony Merger worked well for Sony and Zee till date? Please Explain.'
Also I've seen many of Sony's movies being aired on B4U. Is it a part of this Zee-Sony Merger in which B4U is benefitted?

Yeah, it can due to merger, but the status of merger is like - it will happen, it won't happen, it will happen, it won't happen,etc means the hopes are going up & down, since many obstacles are coming in their way, mostly due to zee. I think that due to the reason that sony is losing many movies, so they are building up view base of bollywood, since have good bollywood become less in no. In their library. But they need to make audience base for Hollywood movies also now to compete with Disney-Star (Star Gold Thrills). Demand is lot there for that, but sony hasn't done anything yet.
