There might be 2 reasons. One is merger & another sony will launch new channels most probably. A year ago in a YouTube channel I saw a video where it is said that sony will launch channels like sony kids, sony max plus, sony Bollywood, sony trends. Now already sony yay jr promo is running. I don't know what exactly it is. If it's a new channel, then others are coming also from Sony

Bro the library of sony is not small, it seems small as so many movies are sidelined. Sony also has hindi rights of many Hollywood movies but they air only one time. They can run an action movie channel just with the south & Hollywood movies they have without repeating a single movie in a month
