Shaitaan may do well but laapata ladies no you can say that it is a family movie but only sooraj barjatya kind of family movies work on tv even dum laga ke haisha was a family movie but still it failed on tv even on star gold also angrezi medium and mimi didn't got trps after premiere

No relation between these 2 things,,however there is a strong possibility that Films from T Series may expire soon from Sony Max as repetition has increased which usually happens when such changes r to happen in near future

T series movies from 2016-18 will soon get expires from max as they have already expired from prime video

Looks like shaandaar kapoor and sons adhm has expired from colors hasn't aired since a long time even in tvwish there is no past schedule hoping they renew them back

Wrong buddy. All kinds of movies work well on TV if they have good content which connects with the audience....alsp it depends on the channel it airs as if channel has no proper reach among target audience or has not built a strong audience base for such genre/segment 9f movies then even good movies may again not get good ratings after few airings

Also films need to have repeat value which unfortunately is lacking in most bollywood movies since a decade or so.

Lapaata Ladies may or may not achieve good ratings beyond few airings as i feel it is a good one time watch and as such Sony even aired movies like Sirf Ek Banda Hi Kaafi Hai and Sukhee which though r good movies but post few airings these now air in watershed hours..... Sony 1stly needs to build a strong bollywood movies audience base then also launch a movie channel dedicated to airing offbeat / critically acclaimed cinema.

I disagree with launching of a new channel. They already have a channel, Sony Wah, on which they can air offbeat and critically acclaimed films. They just ruined the channel as most of the time they air CID only.
