Shanghai shifted from sony to star. Also if Sony-Network18 merge then there is possibility of Colors Cineplex becoming bollywood centric and airing films held with both apart from new acquisitions. Rishtey Cineplex would be new channel catering to dubbed stuff

If this happens we will get to see Pati Patni Aur Woh in Cineplex, Gabbar is back on Sony Max and Filmfare coming back to it's home (on a repeat telecast though),

Than why Aamir khan productions given Rubaru Roshni Television Film Satellite Rights to Star network and Digital Rights to Hotstar/Netflix
Why he not given to Zee network and Zee5

Not likely. Gabbar Is Back is a Viacom18 production. PPAW may not be shared with Colors Cineplex if Sony decides.

Because Satyamev Jayate was on Star. Only Star Plus has the courage to have talk shows especially with Aamir. Zee TV cannot do it.

Rang De Basanti (2006) was originally with Star but shifted to UTV in the mid-2010s. Now UTV and Star are under the same roof. As someone said Dangal is showing on UTV channels as well. This may lead to more Aamir films moving to Disney, especially those without any big banner such as Talaash which is currently with Sony.

YRF movies (Dhoom 3, TOH) will stay with Sony, as well as Rajkumar Hirani movies (3 Id**ts, PK). Cannot comment on older (19990s) movies.

Aamir will be with Zee and maybe will acquire more rights himself and hand over to Zee. YRF, Vidhu Vinod Chopra movies likely to b bagged by Star. Regarding UTV films like RDB it will be with Star Network but then they r not showing it hence not of use, even good ones like Khosla Ka Ghosla, Delhi 6, What's Ur Rashee, Mumbai Meri Jaan, Oye Lucky Lucky Oye not given space... Just A Wednesday has had decent airings.

Talaash will land up with Zee bcoz Excel Films / Aamir r producers unless Excel decides to hop on other network

Most probably Firoz A Nadiadwala upcoming movies will be with Sony as it was originally with Sony except phir hera pheri and Welcome series. Now phir hera pheri and welcome will be also moving to Sony so Hera pheri 3 will be Sony
