After viacom18 and Disney-Star merger yrf movies will be aired on colors channels in watershed hours. @ak7777 @JollyLNB @Ethan 2023 please share ur thoughts on this. IMO before merger completes yrf should exit from Disney-Star.

If YRF agreement is renewed then almost all their movies will get proper airings on hindi movie channels of Disney-Star and Viacom18..... Right now too Disney-Star giving lot better airtime to YRF movies barring retro ones across their channels, soon they r likely to launch a retro bollywood movie channel which shall air older YRF films too in prime slots.... Actually most of older films get less ratings hence just like we have secondary movie channels which compete amongst themselves similarly retro bollywood movie will compete with Zee Classic

The merged entity should continue the ongoing partnerships with dharma yrf maddock and should try to renew films of dharma yrf utv fox which have been expired from respective networks and Bollywood movies should get premiered on star gold only bad newz and jigra should premiere on star gold

No....both will continue.... Star Gold likely to become pure play bollywood movie channel as it has huge + loyal bollywood movies audience base hence it gets great ratings from airing old + new bollywood movies and even dubbed hollywood movies

Well buddy as an observant viewer i assume they will continue to focus on airing bollywood and dubbed hollywood content which shall form major part of their daily schedule..... Post merger may see Star Utsav becoming a retro bollywood movies channel while Colors Cineplex Bollywood will fill in the void created ..... Star Gold Romance might see rebranding with a name like Star Gold Family and it may launch on DD Free Dish platform.... Colors Cineplex SD might air some more bollywood movies however i don't see much changes happening yo its content strategy while its HD feed will continue airing mix of bollywood + dubbed content....... Remember sharing of library will happen in phases and completion will take time until then we will see only minor changes
