Discussion Satellite rights of Hindi movies

Dino29 bro, if VVC films do move to Star as per your expectation, which ones will move, and what airing strategy do you propose considering the demand for those films?

All will move gradually as contract expires for each, even same will happen for YRF or others. Regarding strategy, well i m thinking to join their content / programming team and will create schedule after a public poll here ... Hahaha! . Jokes apart well it depends on day to day basis, diff slots work for each segment. What i m sure about it is that star network will manage all bollywood films lot better than sony, they now have lot chs to accomodate them. Waiting for Star Utsav Movies rebranding too

oops sorry i meant star or sony. Zee might lose them as i m seeing them airing quite often like others which r moving out. Gadar is airing 2 times in next 3 days on &Pictures

Buddy which is why i said "not on prime slots", also Max2 never shows them in key time slots... Barring ofcourse once in a moon situation. After losing major rights they started aired more bollywood stuff but again derailed off that track

I have always observed that you are constantly underestimating Sony. Their situation is like Zee's situation a decade before. But after Tanu Weds Manu rights Zee became aggressive and started buying movies

Not over or under estimating but stating reality and more importantly i have not seen any signs of good news . Regarding zee , they were always leader in bollywood genre until 2012 or 13 when Z Cinema was pure bollywood channel, lastly i have been requesting sony to air more post 2000 bollywood movies atleast on Wah but there has been no improvement. As far as older bollywood movies is concerned, sony is doing fab job thru Max2 and i have stated it manier times
