Why isn't kill being released by Star? May be censor issue, due to extreme violence may be censor is not passing the movie for television? If we cut the violence, the length of the movie will be like 1hr 30 mins or even less, probably that's why ??? Any body have info? They can infact premiere it in Cineplex channel if they have a problem to air it in flagship channel...

Sony MAX posted about kill. It's quite strange because Sony MAX social media never post about some movie which it doesn't hold satellite rights. Another possibility is that Sony PIX has English version of kill from Lionsgate.

  • Value Of Satellite Rights Before Covid was 20 Crores but After Covid its only 10 Crores due to rise of OTT Platforms
  • Post-Pandemic Movies lose significant viewership after 2-3 airings
  • Hindi Movie Channels Still contribute 25% of total TV viewership out of which 70% viewship comes from iconic classical old movies
  • Satellite Rights is contributing only 20% to the Film Value as compared to OTT which is contributing 80%
  • Viewership is growing in Tier-2 & Tier-3 Cities since most of the Viewers are of 30+ age
  • Zee's FTA Movie Channels expanded its viewership by airing more old movies
  • Neeraj Vyas Said ,"Joint or co-licensing of certain large marquee titles, where broadcasters could enter into an agreement to mutually split the cost and divide the screenings of a title throughout the year. This approach would ensure that films continue to attract satellite buyers, and broadcasters can alleviate the pressure while monetising the product effectively.”
