No chance they have already declared that the satellite rights with star

They haven't declared that they are the satellite partner.

After exit of Fox Star from Takht i m not sure if Star will b satellite partner, new deal might b with Viacom18. Also previously Star promoted it on social media bcoz they r co-producers and not necessarily being tv partner. Anyways good that Sony, Viacom18 r adding more bollywood films to schedule.

Also Star Network will shortly get many other UTV Co Produced films... Like Baaghi, Haider, PK, Heropanti etc. Star Gold Select as i had anticipated getting facelift with UTV library joining in, more titles from diff productions likely to come onboard soon. UTV Movies / Action, SUM revamp still pending. Star will give required visibility to all kinds of films which Sony failed to do


Happy that finally old bollywood content getting prominence on tv, same happened with music genre 2010 onwards

But utv is just distributors of pk . it's mainly a Rajkumar Hirani and VVC film. And heropanti is being regularly shown on Sony from starting at prime slots on Sony max and Sony Wah

Who said Fox Star Exited from Brahnastra? They are made co-producers just from Distributor! Have you ever seen Star promotioning a movie that hard with out having Satellite rights to the movie in South channels?

PK won't go rights are with VVC Films

SPN is airing it regularly and it's their prime time movie at least for like 6-7 years and will continue to do so. Plus SPN can't afford to lose their big blockbuster. So at least for 10 years PK won't move to another network

Well, i had read article and even posted here which said Fox Star had parted ways and Viacom18 is new partner. Regarding chs promoting movies but not having rights, this does happen as happened with Tubelight special on Sony.... All these depend on various factors. As i have said Star would have been satellite partner if partnership continued but it has ended as per reports
